Hi I’m Robert the founder of BrightBot UVC.  

I am an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in Chicago, Army Veteran and  Electrical Engineer.

When Covid hit my hospital, like many others, we didn’t have enough PPE.  We were forced to use masks and PPE for days and sometimes weeks at a time while we were caring for Covid patients. This caused undue stress on the staff and had the potential to impact our ability to administer care.

The hospital had researched solutions and a UVC sanitizing system was one of the best options. Through their research they were able to find a UCV rolling light option for 100 thousand dollars.  This was deemed unaffordable so we went without. 

That’s when I looked into fabricating a smarter and simpler version that any hospital could afford. From here I started building and donating UVC equipment to sanitize PPE and patient rooms in my hospital.     

I soon realized that many businesses besides hospitals could benefit from simple affordable UVC sanitizing equipment such as schools, clinics, nursing homes, hotels, dental offices, restaurants, gyms and even public transit.  I design affordable, medical grade UVC germicidal towers that are simple to use because for me, keeping the public and your staff safe is priority number one.
