Medical provider who is veteran founds company that manufactures cost effective UVC germicidal towers.

Robert Thomann founded BrightBot to provide cost effective UVC disinfection

“Sometimes the best solution to a problem is the simplest one, and that is what drives BrightBot™ and its mission”

~ Robert Thomann

Hi, I’m Robert “Bob” Thomann, founder of BrightBot™ UVC.

I am an emergency medicine physician assistant in Chicago, a U.S. Army veteran, and an electrical engineer.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I saw firsthand how difficult it was for organizations to obtain practical, affordable UVC equipment. Available rolling UVC systems could cost as much as $100,000, putting the technology beyond the reach of many organizations.

That experience led me to design and build a simpler, more affordable UVC sanitizing system. BrightBot™ was created to provide independently tested UVC technology without complicated dashboards, apps, subscriptions, or unnecessary operating costs.

Today, BrightBot™ offers practical UVC sanitizing towers for schools, offices, hotels, restaurants, fitness centers, public transportation, and other shared spaces.

The systems are designed to be affordable, durable, and simple to operate while complementing established cleaning protocols.

Prolonged, direct exposure to UVC light can cause temporary skin redness and eye irritation.  Never use BrightBot ™products in rooms occupied by humans or animals. BrightBot™ is not intended to sanitize or sterilize medical equipment and makes no claims about doing so.
